A key component of this project’s success was establishing the client’s budget early on. Certain deliverables, such as the wicker chair, carried financial risk since it was typically rented by the hour and exceeded the initial cost expectations.

I mitigated this issue by sourcing a wicker chair through a buy/sell app, which provided a cost-effective alternative that I can continue to use for future baby shower events.

This adjustment allowed the host to reallocate funds toward food, refreshments, and decorations—resulting in a well-balanced budget and a successful event.
